Description
This Anxiety and Stress Psychology aims to help you explore how to manage feelings of stress and anxiety using tools and techniques through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This approach can change these responses to help us better manage everyday life events. The course explains the evolutionary basis of anxiety and looks at why it isn’t just ill health that causes anxiety in normal people but anxiety that causes ill health (for example, when raised anxiety levels suppress the immune system). Learn about how are thinking and certain behaviours can impact on our experience of anxiety. Topics include: what is anxiety, how anxiety affects us, examining unhelpful behaviours and thoughts, how to reduce and manage worry, techniques to manage anxiety, looking to the future, and much much more!
Assessment:
This course does not involve any MCQ test. Students need to answer assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Once the answers are submitted, the instructor will check and assess the work.
Certification:
After completing and passing the course successfully, you will be able to obtain an Accredited Certificate of Achievement. Certificates can be obtained either in hard copy at a cost of £39 or in PDF format at a cost of £24.
