  1. Some good detail but mixed content from US and UK

It was great to build on my diversity and disability awareness course, which I am a little disappointed that the content is included in this course. So as a heads up I would just take this one and not bother doing the certificate course.
I would recommend people to take this but the content started off US based and then switched to UK, then suddenly started talking within an education setting which was a little odd. It was like it was patched together.
I was hoping for a bit more in depth knowledge around the laws for the UK but it is very broad. Also there are two sections which require access to a GoogleDrive to get content which you have to request access so do that first as it may take a day to get it. I just went straight to the exams after completing the rest so didn’t bother with the GoogleDrive stuff.

  2. Good but slightly out of date

I enjoyed this course and learnt a lot from it, however, some of the language used is now a little bit out of date. Also, some of the YouTube videos linked have either been removed or are more than 7-8 years old, it could do with a bit of refreshing in the new language terms, techniques and policy to be used in the workplace now in 2020.

I would recommend this for people who need the basics but then I would fill in the gaps by looking into YouTube videos, TED talks, books and policy in your local area/country. This is a good foundation for further learning but is not the be-all and end-all of current regulations in E&D.

Please note that this is written from the U.S. perspective, always look into the laws/regulation in your own country if you do not live in the U.S.
